This year, we have seen the release of two new contact lenses. Air Optix mulitfocal is a new lens design for the bifocal patient. This new design comes in three different bifocal powers. These increased options have tripled our success rate for bifocal patients who want to wear contact lenses.
The second new lens is a new daily use contact lens for patients with dry eyes. During testing for the FDA, this lens was found to be nearly as comfortable as no lens at all!
Our new office location is now on the ground floor providing easy accessibility. We are sure you will enjoy our expanded facilities.

At their offices in Akron Ohio, Drs. Snow and Durkin go beyond routine eye examination and optometry services. They not only deal with common problems such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and other ocular diseases, but are able to offer other specialized eye exam and vision care services. Dr. Snow specializes in “hard to fit” contact lens situations, especially bifocal contacts and children’s contacts. Dr. Durkin has special expertise in low vision rehabilitation.
Both doctors graduated from The Ohio State University and received the highest level of certifications available from the state of Ohio. With an emphasis on personal care at their convenient and newly remodeled offices, they use the latest equipment and advances in eye care to provide for all of your needs.
The optical section of their offices includes frames from the most popular designers including Christian Dior, Silhouette, Nicole Miller, Fysh and Kliik.
